Theme of the Day: Castles
The above is Tristyn attempting to use my cell phone to take a picture of his block castle. He accidentally turned on the 'Record a Video' instead of 'Take a Picture.' I found it very cute that he asked Maia what button to push to take the picture not realizing that it was filming the whole time.
Tristyn and Maia worked together in Maia's room to construct this blanket castle. They are sleeping in it tonight. Or behind it. Or something. At any rate on their very soft fold-out mini-couches their Grandma Pat got for them sometime ago. They get an amazing amount of use our of their couches!
The third in our series of castles today. This is Maia's Cardboard Castle. It has its first coat of paint and she recruited Tristyn and I to help her make decorations for it.
She wanted an Army of Unicorns to paste on it and we did our best to help her. Okay, well Maia and I made unicorns and Tristyn looked at us like we were nuts and he drew Janga Fett and his assorted Star Wars buddies.
